Quanna Smith
Quanna Smith is a long time resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Evansville, Indiana. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University. She became an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) by completing a dual Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Clinical Nurse Specialist from the University of South Alabama. She is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) by the American Nursing Credentialing Center, a Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) by the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission and a Board Certified Emergency Nurse (BCEN) by the Emergency Nurses Association. Her professional memberships include the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American College of Nurse Practitioners, Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Nephrology Nurses’ Association, National Kidney Foundation and Emergency Nurses Association. She volunteers with the Baton Rouge Taylor's Kidney Support Group, the National Kidney Foundation KEEP screenings and the NKF annual Baton Rouge walk. |
